Beavers (Ages 6 – 8)

Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy many different activities including going on visits, games, crafts, making friends and helping others.

We have one Beaver Colony on a Wednesday evening currently:

The Forest of Dean District also runs a number of activities each year where Beaver Scouts from across the District can come together for a fun day, outing, or maybe a Christmas party. Beaver Scouts is all about having fun with your friends.

Easter Challenges

Every Easter all 1st Royal Forest Beavers have an Easter egg hunt. We provide different challenges, problem solving games and activities to win an Easter egg. This year is no different! Complete the Easter challenges provided and win yourself an Easter egg. Email photo’s, message us or add onto our facebook page to prove you have completed the challenges and the Easter Bunny may leave something at your door! (Please note I will not enter your house or have direct contact). I will try and notify you when the Easter bunny has left the prize on your doorstep. All challenges are linked to badges, so PLEASE let a leader know when you have completed activities, just because we are not having a face to face meeting doesn’t mean scouting has got to stop! If badges are completed you will be sent a certificate, and the actual badges will be given when meetings start again.
