Float in the Forest is Gloucestershire’s floatation centre, based here in the Forest of Dean between Whitecroft and Bream.

Floatation is a relaxation therapy.  You float on the surface of warm water saturated with Epsom salt (550kg of it!).  Due to the buoyancy there is no pressure on your body, so all your muscles can relax and let go of tension.  In the absence of stimulation, your mind can drift off into peace and quiet.  Floating can help with stress relief, pain relief (e.g. back pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia and so on), sports rehabilitation and more.  Many people use it as an aid to meditation, others just for fun and relaxation. Win a free weekday float to be used on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday in the next 6 months and try it for yourself!

We make delicious chocolate balls (with a health conscious twist), distinctive loose leaf herbal teas and delightful seasonal syrups – all handmade in our rural kitchen and created with natural, local, foraged or ethically sourced ingredients. They make great gifts for foodie friends, or the perfect pick-me-up treat for those moments when you need a boost. Head straight to the Shop if you’ve know what you’re after or visit our Products page to find out more about what we make. You can also find us at markets, festivals and events, including some where we serve from Gertie, our vintage 1960’s Cheltenham caravan.
